I am currently in one of two phases in reading: take a week and a half to read a book or read it in twenty four hours. And when I don’t have covid, I’m trying to read a lot while I’m not currently working on my own book.
My pool season ends a little earlier this year than normal for a few reasons, but because of that, it’s now time to pay attention to my TBR cart. I have a bar cart from Target I got a few years ago that is stuffed with books I need to read. Books from Book of the Month and Aardvark Book Club, along with other options.
The cart is pretty full, so I need to take some time and definitely make a dent in it by the end of the year. One of my goals is to win the Book of the Month reading challenge and I’d love to do that by November.
I need to read five more to get the Book Boss badge, one book that is 400+ pages for the Long Hauler badge, two more for the Omnivoreader badge and I already completed the Hot Taker badge. I love that the app will tell you what books you can read to complete each badge.
So lots of books to read this month, both for that challenge and just because I want to.
